Frontiers of Medicine is dedicated to publishing original research and review articles on the latest advances in clinical and basic medicine with a focus on epidemiology, traditional Chinese medicine, translational research, healthcare, public health and health policies. 2007年，《醫(yī)學前沿》（frontiers of medicine）創(chuàng)刊，2016年被sci檢索收錄。該期刊主編為上海交通大學醫(yī)學院附屬瑞金醫(yī)院上海血液學研究所陳賽娟院士、天津中醫(yī)藥大學張伯禮院士、哈爾濱醫(yī)科大學楊寶峰院士和華中科技大學同濟醫(yī)學院附屬同濟醫(yī)院外科學系陳孝平院士。

該期刊注重反映醫(yī)學前沿領域的學術進展，關注國際研究熱點，以及中國突出研究成果。主要報道領域有：臨床醫(yī)學、基礎醫(yī)學、轉化醫(yī)學、流行病學、公共衛(wèi)生、醫(yī)療衛(wèi)生政策和中醫(yī)藥學。文章類型有editorial (社論)， reviews (綜述)， research articles (原創(chuàng)性研究論文)，case report (病例報告)，comment (評論)，letter to frontiers of medicine ?(通訊報道)等等。
